Thanksgiving

This year we went to California to see my dad side of the family. We left Wednesday and got in about 10:00 pm. We were staying with my grandparents. They rented an apartment for us to stay in at the retirement home where they live. It was a very nice 2 bedroom, 2 bath, living room, kitchen, TV. It was very nice.

Day 1 Thursday

We had Thanksgiving dinner with my grandparents at the retirement home in the diner. The food was very delicious. After that grandpa gave us a tour of the retirement home. Then we came back and grandpa gave me a laptop. I had to make a promise that this was the last present I was getting from him. So, I made the promise. My dad said that this was a very nice one with all the right features that I needed. Evan got a digital camera from them. Later that night my aunt and cousins came over and we talked and ate some more. This is a picture of my aunt and cousin.

Day 2 Friday

We wanted to go to the beach while we were there so my uncle and aunt scooped out a place for us to go to the beach. We went to Crystal Cove Beach near Laguna Beach. It wav very nice, but too much seaweed if you ask me. We had our family, uncle, aunt, cousins, and my aunts friend. Andrew's friend that he knew in Warrensburg, but moved to California when we moved to Nevada met us at the beach as well. We were there until sunset. Which was awesome. We could see Catalina.

Day 3 Saturday

This is the main reason we came down. My uncle and aunt invited the whole family to get together. We all have not been together for about 6 years. So, we got to see aunts, uncles,cousins that we haven't seen in a while. It was nice. My aunt does everything perfect so, at dinner we had assigned seating, decoration, appetizers, the whole shabang. We ate Thanksgiving dinner outside. Couldn't do that in Missouri. The picture below and left is all the grandkids minus 3 and my grandparents.

Day 4 Sunday

The last day we ate lunch with grandma and grandpa then we were on our way home.
