Fundraiser

Our family went to a fundraiser spaghetti dinner for an inactive member in our ward who got in a four wheeler accident. He was in the hospital for several weeks in a coma and had recently returned home. The kid was about 9 years old. It was sponsored by our ward and by the school he attends. The money was for his medical bills and rehabilitation. They raised over $9,000. I was amazed at the amount of money they raised. They auctioned off homemade cakes and some were going for $200.00 or more. It was purely a donation only dinner. There was not a set amount to get in.
