We spent New Year's Eve and New Year's Day at home. Mom went to the fireworks store and got some poppers and confetti guns. We had to make sure the Popper Police doesn't come after us. You can't shoot fireworks in our county, so she had to sign something to say she would leave the county within 24 hours. Pretty stupid since we have about 5 fireworks store here in Pahrump that are open year round. We watched the Las Vegas fireworks on 3 differents stations on TV. The fireworks were great it lasted 8 1/2 minutes. Then we watched the New York Ball drop at 1 a.m. We drank vanilla and chocolate homemade shakes and that was the night.
