"Up" House!!

When we announced to the family that we would be moving to Utah, the first thing Hailey did was research where the "UP" house was located.  Was it for sale? Was it for rent?  These were all things that Hailey wanted to know.  She thought by some miracle that we could possibly live in this wonderful house. After all it wasn't that far away from where dad worked. And it was in Herriman which is where everybody told us was "the place to be" in Utah. As it turned out the house was not for rent and if you wanted to buy it you had to fork out about $400,000.  Not in this lifetime will we be able to come up with that kind of pocket change.  But needless to say she has taken every opportunity to take a free tour and soak in everything this wonderful home has to offer.  Her and Andrew went trick of treating there and were greeted by a talking dog out front. And the former Governor Bangerter was dressed up like Mr. Fredrickson and a little boy was dressed up like Russell.  It was pretty cute.  While she was there she and Andrew were granted into the club and given their "grape soda" badge.  Totally made her day.  Since then Emily has gone and received her "grape soda" badge as well.  Pretty awesome. Sad to say that the house has been sold.  No more free tours.  No more soaking up the wonderful spirit of this "adventure".  We sure enjoyed it while it lasted. Did I say "awesome" enough for you? I am ready to build my own "UP" house.
