True to our nature we are late at documenting our life. Last summer a good friend and former roommate of Myra's invited the family up to Snowbird to enjoy the day at their time share condo. We were anxious to escape the city and enjoy the clean, mountain air.

After enjoying the view and the tram ride we parted ways. We all decided to ride the chairlift down the mountain except Evan and Hailey decided they wanted to enjoy the scenery a little longer and just ride the tram back down.
Trying to enjoy the ride down the mountain on the chairlift. On our decent down the clouds quickly started rolling in and rain began to fall. We didn't know which was scarier; the ride down or the black clouds that were descending upon us. Not only did the clouds and rain arrive but also the cold, windy weather didn't help either. By the time we got to the bottom we were completely soaked.
Since Evan and Hailey were still on the top of the mountain they would not let them ride down on the tram until the clouds and threat of lightning disappeared. We had no idea how long their wait was going to be. Luckily they had a hut that they were allowed to go into to wait and to get away from the cold and rain and there were a few others that were with them. We were able to communicate with them through text luckily. But they didn't know much and really didn't have much information to give us. We did know they were safe and were being taken care of. This didn't help to alleviate some of the anxiety that Hailey was experiencing. After about an hour they were finally able to get back on the tram and descend down the mountain. Needless to say we were all relieved.
