Since they are building a temple only about 20 minutes away, we decided to check out the progress. There was no foundation yet, but they had to do alot of clearing out of trees. When they have it all done you will be able to see it from the highway. It first we were told that we would not be in the temple district (long story), but after prayers, fasting and personal calls from our Stake President to Salt Lake they have decided that we are in the district, which is super nice. 20 minutes vs. 4 hour drive; leaving at 3 AM. versus leaving a half hour before sessions.
The pictures were taken back in May so it probably has changed since then. So hopefully in a year and a half we will have a temple close.
